Post-doctoral positions at the Department of Asian, African and the Mediterranean Studies, University of Naples L`Orientale

The Department of Asian, African and the Mediterranean Studies, University of Naples L`Orientale, has opened a number of post-doctoral positions in the framework of the project ‚Linguistic complexity: Structural perspectives to local complexities across West African languages‘ (PRIN – Research projects of national interest, #C53D23003920001, PI Gian Claudio Batic).

The Department is particularly interested in sourcing candidates for the following post-doctoral fellow positions:

PRIN/DAAM/2003/2 – Semantic and structural complexity of kinship terminologies across West African languages

PRIN/DAAM/2003/3 – Phonological complexity in West African languages

Post-doctoral contracts are annual (12 months), non-renewable and will start in February-March 2024.

The deadline for submitting applications is 13 January 2024.
